Its due to the failure of our govt in taking a strong step such as imposing anti dumping duty against them which would have stopped it from happening long back!!

The drugs business in India is worth a whoping Rs,40000 crore and about 15 to 20 % of this trade is contibuted by fake or spurious drugs,The fake drugs in the Indian market may be either of the two,1) the fakre drugs manufactured in the manufacturing dens in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and chiefly in Himachal Pradesh and 2) spurious drugs from China bearing the "made in India" label, The Police Dept, Drugs Controller, Central Excise Dept etc empowered by law to check the manufacture and distribution of fake drugs, As the Chinese contribution to the illegal drug trade bears the "made in India" label, it cannot be legitimately imported into India, These fake drugs of Chinese origin find the way to India thru the porous land borders and also thru containers on board ships, The customs and the BSF etc are supposed to rein in smuggling , Then, why do we fail to stem this menace making people more sick and even kill them ? Lack of intelligence gathering, a sad neglect of presribed duties and eve ...more

Fast moving & Maximum profit make people to deal such product & cheaper rate & attraction make people to buy

This is not just from govt. even the firms/organisation that can do a big in controlling err and SPOIL a good chance of avoiding them in future
NOT JUST THE FOOD recent ban on Chinese mobiles without IMEI, its neither govt. not people its the network provided did it

They don't want to lose the customers hence come-up with a new idea of issuing IMEI numbers and retained their customers (thus the whole idea flopped)

Same is true for food like chocolates & soaps
but its not the same for drugs with 'made in India' tags
The Drug controllers as well as rules in regulating them failed (unless they know and check with black list, its difficult to identify) & regular monitoring of drugs too is not happening

Chinese food and drugs are as bad for health as Chinese electrical goods for life...These Chinese of course have made products cheap but they don't know that there are a few things where quality matters more than low price, I thin nobody will like to play with his health and life for cheaper medicines and drugs....China can neve take over India in pharmaceuticals or services.
