Fruits, goldmine of vitamins, minerals and fibre are ideal to consume at least 4-5 servings in a day. Since they are in the natural form, account for largest part of water and 100% bad cholesterol free, it's much easier for the body to process and absorb the vitamins and minerals from the fresh fruit.

Eating fruits gives us vitamins, minerals and fiber and the best part is that fruits are tasty. Some people eat almost same fruits. We should try to eat different fruits everyday. It is better to have all the seasonal fruits. Earlier, people did not know much about the benefits of fruits. It is now known that 'jamun' is excellent for those who are diabetic. Those who have small piece of land by the house can easily grow and eat fruits such as papayas, bananas, guavas, custard apples (sita fal), chickoos etc.

This means you get more essential vitamins and other nutritional benefits from snacking on fruit in its natural state.
