Hi Mohan Singh, LG WRman Sherlock here,

OLED has many advantages over the existing panels that we have right now. It is thinner, flighter and more flexible than the usual LCD and LED screen. It is also much brighter and do not require any backlighting as it can generate light by itself. Therefore, OLED TV consumes much less power than other panels out there. And finally, OLED TV also has much wider viewing angle as it does not have any light blocking as the LCD sets do. But most importantly, the picture quality on the OLED TV is amazing and beautiful thanks to the hundreds of thousands of individual pixel cells lighting up that make the screen. The LG World Record OLED TV will be coming out very soon next year. Keep a watch on its release by visiting our forum at: www.lgwrforum.com.

I was at CES this year and the picture quality is amazing on the LG OLED TV. You can not see any pixels or lines. It is almost as big an improvement in picture quality as HD was to STD. Gamers and home cinema aficionados are going to absolutely love OLED. Having tried it myself, I can vouch for the lightning-quick responsiveness of the panel. As well as being completely devoid of blur, and so much more detailed, even during fast-moving video, light output is controlled in each pixel so very localised dimming is possible.
