In my opinion coconut water and butter milk are the best summer drinks as they are suitable for every body types.

There is nothing better than our drinking water...lots of it.
However the preferred drink varies from region to region...
I North India...where the hot dusty LOO...blows and dries up even the innards...the best is the unripe Aam ka Pana....it keeps the body cool and hydrated.
In regions near the coast ( sea)...the best drink would be the unripe coconut water available in plenty.
Lime mixed with sugar and a pinch of salt...diluted with water...is a drink which is available easily all over India...and its the most preferred drink...to keep cool and hydrated.
