Hi! A healthy diet refers to eating nutrients in the right amount & proportion & at the right time. Here's a sample diet for healthy eating & weight loss-
Breakfast- Bowl of cereals, fruit, egg white
Mid morning- handful of nuts
Lunch- Roti, vegetables & dal OR wholegrain sandwich witha low fat filling
Evening Snack- Fruits
Dinner- Soup, salad & choose from chicken/fish/lentils grilled, roasted, stewed or boiled (avoid fried & gravy preperations)
Drink 8-10 glasses of water in the day.

A healthy diet is one that is arrived at with the intent of improving or maintaining optimal health.
For reducing weight, stick with whole grain varieties, including whole wheat, multigrain, rye, millet, oat bran, oat, and cracked wheat. This goes for all types of bread: sliced bread, pita, bagels, English muffins, crackers, and so on.
