A theist groomed by theosophy (hypothesis about God built on faith and belief) is a follower, thinker within predefined frame work, emotionally attached to certain principles, controlled by fear and surrendering himself to divinity. On the contrary an atheist branded as black-sheep among the masses (theists) has to break away from the main-stream, has to muster all his intellect, logical analysis and build up his own hypothesis about no God. He has to navigate against the direction of the wind and face ridicule from the masses. In order to stand up to all these odds he must be emotionally very strong and mentally alert and intelligent. While it is so difficult just become an atheist it is further an uphill taks to communicate hjs hypothesis to others. If he is successful in convincing a couple of people about his philosophy surely he is bold and mentally very strong.

An atheist may be mentally strong but he can't deny the 'divine intervention' when he attains success. A Theist although a strong believer in God may rely too much on 'divine intervention' and not do any struggle on his own then he may face failure.
