Sir,
I am Amit. my salary is 2.4lakh p.a.
In which sector i invest for tax saving and it's return in approx 5 to 10 years.
i know about some LIC policies but suggest best option.
previously i invest in SHARE MARKET AND LIC 20 year policy but this stage i am not satisfied about share market and for 20 years gap.
SO PLEASE GIVE ME GOOD OPTION WHERE I INVEST AND IT'S RETURN IN APPROX 5 TO 10 YEARS ? THANKS

If your gross income is 2.4 lakhs - you have to save Rs 90,000 under 80C to save all tax. Reduce the PF amount from Rs 90,000. Balance you can invest in the following -

50% in ELSS - SUNDARAM BNP PARIBAS TAX SAVER - Choose dividend pay out option. Compulsorily 3 year lock in. In 5 years you can expect atleast 12-15% compounded rate of return.
50% in PPF . Open an account in the nearest branch of SBI. There is a 15 year lock in. It is a good pension fund. You can extend in 5 year blocks after 15 years. Please do not close the PPF a/c ever. Deposit as much as you can and as early as you can during the financial year. If you deposit before 5th April - you will get 8% tax free interest for the full year. Minimum is Rs 500 and maximum is Rs 70,000. You can deposit any amount either lumpsum or every month. Collect as much balalance as you can till retirement. After retirement - you can pay Rs 500 every year and withdraw the interest every year - this is tax free pension. The balance will ...more

Invest ur money in good stocks like Tata steel, Suzlon, Hindalco, State Bank, RCom , Reliance power for long term planning for fetching good returns

PPF is a better option.Invest 70% in PPF and rest 30% in ELSS
