Possibly, yes. The productivity of chinese labours r much more than our labours.Besides,in matter of skill, they r catching up with us at a very fast rate.Chinese vocational institutes produces better workf force than ours. However,we have the advantage of experience.

For sure it will enhance the output and will create a competitive environment in Gulf region, This will not have immediate effect on Indians since Indian have very well gelled with the Gulf environment and people here are more confortable working with them....

Trust building is lengthy process and it requires time. Wait and watch in the meantime its a good opportunity for Indian to enhance their skills in order to nullify the effect of chinese workers.

There is a lot to do with the greater affinity with the cultures of the two regions too, which has spanned some 14 centuries. The Arab nations are much more comfortable with the Asian continent people like Indians. Pakistanis and Bangladeshis, where the people have migrated to these countries purely on economic reasons and nothing more. For them it is a matter of bread and butter, forced by circumstances at home of not finding a suitable job that can pay enough for their survival.

Our people adjust to the situation, living standards etc however bad it may be, much better than the Chinese. Then a more important factor is the least amount of Govt interference in protecting their own citizens however unfair the laws are ranged against them, however badly they are treated and however badly they are paid or even taken for a ride. Unlikely to be the same case, where the Chinese Govt may not keep quiet if their citizens are treated the same way.

We are here talking about the semi-skil ...more

It is true that Chinese are a threat.
But it won't jeopardise Indian labourers future any where in the world, including gulf.
Reason : Indians are mild natured. Chinese are not.
Indians are sociable. Chinese are aggressive.
Indians are knowledgeable,. Chinese are not.
Indians are adoptable. Chinese are adamant.
Look at how local African people revolting against Chinese labours.
Relax. It is just a passing problem.
