Its due to most people in a large population of much above 1.2 billion are innocent who are taken for a ride by the powerful & rich who make the most by exploiting them. The remedy for it is not an easy one to implement as it would involve educating a large mass of population the right way. We have literacy but when it comes to being educated most of the population is found lacking which is the major reason for it!!

The ratio of our More and our Less is is all awry, away from the correct course. The reason, most probably, is that we are torn between the ever increasing and expanding knowledge in all spheres ... and our lack of means to cope up with that. We, at the most, learn by rote and by mug-up strategy and are happy to score 99% or more in examinations!
We have failed to train our minds to cope up with the ever expanding sphere of knowledge world wise. We are actually running after knowledge, which is created and sustained ... not by us. And on the other hand we refuse to believe that our system of learning is faulty.
Let's hope, one day we will rectify the mistake and create knowledge after which others will run.

Agree. Lack of understanding, tolerance, education and love gave way to this type of situation to-day.
