We go crazy and berserk on foreign jaunts and appear dumb struck even as we have so many wonders in India which we ignore or have never visited. Why ?

Oh yes...I too have noticed the manner in which we behave abroad like dumb struck teenagers....and everything foreign still does appeal to us. But there is a subtle reasoning behind this....most of us have a lower sense of hygeine and cleanliness...and with the bursting at the seams population...we have made a mess of even the beautiful places we have in our country.
So the neatness and the quality of upkeep of their heritage buildings...roads and monuments makes them appear more beautiful. Unfortunately you are right again...we do have so much of natural beuaty and heritage in our country but prefer to ignore most of them because of lack of easy conveyance or facilities

It is cheaper to travel abroad than to travel within India if one has to travel by air to save time
