But why we mostly work on New Year ?? Is some Sentimental reason there ??

Now its never a National holiday for India. Some MNC's still have a break on this day who consider it as one year end. I am not quite aware of any sentimental reason. My belief is .what we do on the first day of a new year , we are going to do it best for the rest of the year also. So if we work well on the day 1 ,may be we will do the same for the rest of the year :-))
