Q.

Today I have again seen the Babri Masiid picture on net and felt very sad seeing its demolition view. It seems we made the resident (GOD/Allah/Bhagwan) of that old building shelterles who had been residing for more than 1000 years. Can anybody answer is this the way to take revenge whatever be the circumstances? If it is for the sake of religion, then whats the moral code of such religion? Destruction is a devil work. what you say?

Joyesh, this question you hv raised about morality.. but this act was not on the basis of Moral.. but the basis of Political act.. The BJP stand was to build a temple against a mosque was not due to God but due to IDENTITY REASON.. here Religion is not Moral but Identity.. THERE IS A VAST DIFFERENCE.. the communal crisis comes when it is a matter of Identity but when it is a matter of Morality IT IS AT UTTER PEACE.. So, according to me Let us ALL RALISH RELIGION AS MORALITY NOT IDENTITY... then we all will have peaceful survival..

To begin with, I start from the concluding part of your qn i.e. "Destruction is a devil work. What you say?" ! You are absolutely right. But it was not simply a destruction of a Masjid. It was the destruction of an old heritage also. Barbaric act of some so called religious politicians have done it motivatedly only to gain some votes. The entire Nation were ashamed of their act. They have tried to destruct the unity in diversity. They have destructed the belief, the faith amongst the Indians. No doubt, they have demolished it but what they have done on long term basis is apprehending. They have divided the people of India and this is alarming. Secularism is weakened to a great extent. At the cost of the progress of the country, some have achieved some political gain and that is for permanently even amongst a large number of religious people. To remove all these, India is to fight for how many decades, God knows it only.

Bulleh Shah, who perhaps had the widest following in undivided Punjab, wrote (in translation here):

Demolish the mosque, demolish the temple, Demolish what you can.....But never demolish a person's heart....For God resides in human.....!!

Everytime BJP raises the issue it bites the dust badly in elections-
Nobody will have the guts to rebuild the same-I have seen that place heavily barricaded and full police post/ batallion is established there; Moreover The religious fanaticism is condemnable!

It wasnt a destruction . It was a demolition of old structure to pave the way for reconstruction. Dont we do it for other buildings.
God resides everywhere. He is omnipresent.
Moral code of religion should be asked from those who have been doing these acts since past several centuries.
