When the famous central Government institution JIPMER produced better results than many medical colleges in the country, particularly in the South, the happiness was short lived when the true assessors commented that JIPMER has to be compared with Christian Medical College Vellore and not with other ones, I am remembering here. India should not be compared with USA, China etc. and not with the stated ones. We should be ashamed of the gap between the words of the authorities and the real efforts reaching the participants for 3-4 yrs prior to the competition. Like many other things, we are still slack in many fields, even preventing the complete black out for half of the states after witnessing a similar effect for a few one day earlier, in this electronic age. Why not device methods to prevent overdrawing, if that was the reason? Politics is controlling everything here; Science and technology get a back seat.

But we should not underestimate narang's individual effort....he came out of all obstackles and won over fake heroes and heroism of the country who are regularly admired and encouraged to ruin the young generation by the government, the businessmen and the media on all occasions! There was nobody to stand beside him before he achieved his goal, there will be none in future for people like him....!

Every four years Olympics happen and we are ashamed.. Contrast this with China, who are at the top. We are equal to anybody else in the world, but for our poor leadership who are most corrupt and duffers. They have failed in almost every field, leave alone sports.
