Q.

Before formation of an enquiry board, the Railway Board Chairman says that the Rail accident is made due to the ignorance of the Drivers of the up coming Uttar Banga Express in Sainthia !! Don't U think that this man is supposed to be removed from his chair as he is otherwise influencing the up coming report of the Railways' enquiries itself ? What is your valued opinion regarding such number of 11 accidents in the last 15 months ? I await your views, Hon'ble members !! Regards.

Every body, right from the minister to railway officials are trying to cover their ass. Ultimately it is the poor Driver of the train that rammed the ass of the other train who will be left handling the wrong side of the barge pole. Since he is no more and is not in a position to defend himself, he will be the safest scape goat. The Railway minister would prefer a verdict of sabotage and pass the blame to Home Ministry or State Government, HM and SG would prefer technical failure as in that case the onus will be on Railway Board. The Railway Board Chairman in order to retain his chair will not like to antagonize either the Railway Minister or any other Ministers. So he will naturally pass the buck down the line to a person who is dead - as dead people don't speak and truth gets buried or cremated with their bones. Ultimately it will be the family members of the driver who are going to get punished. They will be made to run from pillar to post for claiming the dues of their dead husband ...more

I think its terrible and worst to give a statement like that. it shows how a blame game is going on. all of them either are blaming driver or minister or somebody else nobody is really concerned that something disastrous has happened and can happen again. Its really shocking to know that these figures already exist and nobody is doing anything not even thinking or probably if doing then not to such level wher it can actually be called a strong step in thet direction. its really sad.

In short, West Bengal politics is getting in to nerves of rest of India.
It has stooped down to the lowest level possible ever.
We Probashi Bengalis are tired of facing ill comments.
