Guys..i'm 17.just finshed school.my ambition in life is to start my own flourishing business by the time i'm 35.So i want to get into an IIM.. but don't know anything about the CAT..any of you guys out there ..help me on what are the basics of preparing for CAT..and what's DI,verbal,quant,e.t.c..

The Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a two year course with specializations like Human Resources, IT, Marketing and Finance, Hospitality. The Common Aptitude est(CAT) is an entrance test comprising subjects like Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Sufficiency(Logical Reasoning/Maths/English). Coaching Centres like G.A.T.E, T.I.M.E, IMS, Career Launcher spread across different cities offer study matierials, mock tests to crack the CAT exam. Join one of the centres. Brush up on your vocabulary by reading 2-3 newspapers everyday and learning ten new words from the dictionary everyday. Carry an oxford dictionary and a Roget's Thesaurus. Skim through current affairs and general knolwedge books, quiz shows, debates. Group discussions and personal interview are conducted by faculties of respective colleges to test your analytical skills.
