I do agree with your proposition, which is a very good idea to raise the quality of the performance of the MPs as they are really the fulcrum on which many a development activity takes place in this country. When we say Management Training, it need not be a typical MBA curriculum as set in the IIMs or premier institutions or any other place.

Before I answer the question, let us have a look at the MPs who land up in Parliament. Remember, most of them are party cadres, who have climbed up the ladder to get a nomination or have influence in their own fiefdoms to get themselves a ticket. Till then, all they were concerned was local politics or maximum confined to their states. More important, most of them come from small towns and villages, with very liltle exposure to what is going on around the country or in the world and how it effects the various aspects in a developing country like ours. So, except for the veterans who have held various positions in the Union Ministry, others land ...more

oh this is simply a floooooooooooop idea..
u again want to waste money by giving the training...

it better choose management ppl to come forward as politician...

we should the current politician how to behave like a leader..n to be loyal to theri country n countrymen....

the problem is when u have power, paisa n public..
u think ur self as a GOd...

n thts were they try to do wht they want...

so we should always make them remeber that they should die for country rather then klilling the ppls............

u knw if u arrange a training for them then out of 100 ..90 will not attained the training n the money for their training will go to their account n aparrt from that at last they will submit a fake certificate....

finally we common ppl r in lose...so better .....dont take this kind of action

i wud agree , but someone shud teach them a lesson on honesty . so moral science will be best. cos the lot is effective but the income they take home makes the work made by them ineffective.so if they are god fearing , they will stick to the job honestly and the work will be more effective n fruitful

You think getting an MBA is so easy ?
Most of our MPs are illiterate. First let them become graduates and then let them even dream of getting management training.

It is not lack of knowledge and training that is preventing them from effectively discharging their duties. It is the vote bank politics and selfish interests that is preventing them. And MBA or management education is not going to solve that.

I appreciate your suggestion but if a person is bent upon not to run effectively our country then whats the use. Training should be given to those who are sincere enough to head the country.
