In the present era even parents hesitate to raise their hand on children,so it would be considered a blasphemy if teachers tried these stunts on students. In the ages gone by it wouldn't be considered anything offensive but times are changing n one has to keep in tab with times.

When corporal punishment has been treated as a cognizable offense, teachers should refrain from such acts.

Teachers beat their students like that ?? Like what?? He was not brutally beaten, even postmortem report doesn't say so !!!! It was an act of a son who " gets total indulgence from his parents"and 'thinks what he does is all ok'.As he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
So the arrest of the Principal is a gross mistake. Whole students are in support of the respected Principal.Even his class mates. It is bad precedence.More over no evidence is there to prove.Only his parents think so.
