He ruminates that by attending the wedding he has kept intact the relationship with Bhutan at the necessary optimum level, for Bhutan is a strategic alley for India. Apart from that I doubt if he even consider himself at the bride groom's place.

Probably he might have ate well in the ceremony and then while sitting silently looking at the newly wedded couple he might have ruminated that how it would be if he also get married before every thing slips away from him, including his dream chair of India's PM chair!! for there are so many slips between lips and the cup.
