On batting pitches, Indian bowlers cannot take 20 wickets.
On bowling pitches, especially overseas, Indian batsmen cannot make sufficient runs. So how India will win test matches consistently?

Your view sounds quite alarmist.

The situation as i see it is Indian Bowlers particularly the fast/medium fast bowlers historically have never been given their due credit.

For long the middle order batsmen have given an impression albeit supported by a weak kneed media making their superstars - bloated (alas).

Sachin- Sourav or Rahul have their records - their averages but have then won matches consistently??? No.

Take a Hussey - he has been selected for the Aussie team only after 30' but he is under pressure to perform every match and see how he is succeeding. He averages past 70.

I fully agree with Rekha Gopalan on this and have nothing more to add to it.

Make sure they will play only in India and ask the other cricketing countries to just come play and get thrashed here.
