It is only a saying that people get the government they deserve. I do not think Germans and Ugandans deserved Hitler or Idi Amin. These dirty self-declared dictators hoisted themselves in power without people wanting them and once they grabbed absolute power, they became blind with that power and began to dream many things. Both these tyrants have done maximum damage to innocent people and have gone down in history as some of the worst persons inflicting untold misery on innocent persons. Hitler targeted Jews and Idi Amin targeted Asians.. Regarding Pervez Musharaf, he is much better than Hitler and Idi Amin and he has not done that much bad either for the Pakistanis or any particular community although he grabbed power in a coup and hence he cannot be equated with Hitler or Idi Amin Dada. Hitler and Idi Amin were so sort of maniacs. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. This saying hold good in these cases.

No in most of african and asian countries it is dictatorship and not the elected govt.the attrocities committed by these leaders can not be described and horrified see millions have been killed by idi amin ,millions by hitler in gas chamber and story is same in pakistan, zimbabe, south america.so it will continue. now how many have been killed by iran, iraq, and terrorists. it will continue.

Absolutely...politicians and statesmen are just our own reflection...and are there just because we desired their presence in a subtle way...unacceptable though
