Many situations and people have hurt me knowingly and unknowingly at every stage of my life. But then we are in a competitive environment where no one is happy to see other happy and hence i learn t it very early to say thanks to all acts of commissions and omissions of others as i had/have no control on their reaction.Yes my reactions were in my hand always and i handled my reactions fairly nicely and in best possible balanced manner and i glad of the fact that i have not hurt many people in this journey so far...and here on..question does not arise.VERY INTELLIGENT question this...a book can be written on this but i have to curtail my reply due paucity of space.

Many places, many loving people---i come to conclude---no resentment.
Spent time--lovely memories---still all around---
filter out all positivities to cherish it for lasting times-----

Friend, Emotional damages are permanent. They are for life Such wounds don`t heal. The damage is combined, not only mental, but physical also. And if, unfortunately, such damages find their way into our subconscious mind, then a dreaded disease may eventually show up. Now, it is very difficult to reverse this process. But, again very heavy dose of positive emotions is required to be injected into our subconscious mind to minimise the damage. With this method we can salvage something at least.

The first two i agree with wholeheartedly.. till the don't heal ever bit.
They also lie dormant but not necessarily fester.. they may lie like that for ever waiting...waiting.. and waiting for that magical day when the cause of the damage will turn up and heal the hurt.
