It is really disgracing that university which should concentrate on education ask about extracuricular activity. This is similar to our work force in PSU who most of time are doing trade union politics and do not do even a bit of work in industry. shame on this mode of selecting the candidates

I DONT BLAME U ITS THE INDIAN SYSTEM OF EDUCATION THT LEAVES NO ROOM FOR INNOVATION AND ORIGINAL THINKING.
our hobbies our likings our dislikings our ECA debating quizzing team leading skills actually say more abt us than our INDIAN SCORE SHEETS DO WHCIH DONT EVN HAV A SIMPLE IQ TEST ! a systme of education where one board cant trust other whr THR IS NO PRACTICALITY IN WAT WE LEARN JUS PURE THEORITICAL BULL SHIT....which is y indians r jus mere workers n hav no entrepreneurial or NOBLE prize winning skill or literary or research based skills n the ones who do ARE ALL NRIs (vinod dham, vs naipaul,arundhati roy,kiran desai,amarya sen,bose music systems,sabeer bhatia,kalpana chawla) TRUe NAA ? evr wondered y ? coz they dont innovate they jus DO WAT THEY R TOLD TO...the same as assembly line robots...we dont need ppl to compute (a+b)^2 coz we got comps which can do a kazillion of htose equations in a nano sec...wat we as humans need to do ...more

Than you answer this question, if you have 10 seats, and 50 people applying for those seats with almost the same percentage, how will you decide which one to pick or not. There has to be something extra.The competion is so high that getting good marks is not enough.
