Vishwaroopam is flawed and a big disappointment, is it correct?

As compared to some of the hundred crore blockbusters it is much better. With Kamal Hasan at the helm, you can always expect something different and that comes in the form of the script, which is novel and rivetting. What lets the movie down however is the length of the movie, especially the part filmed in Afghanistan is painstakingly long and could have been cut altogether. I think if the focus would have stayed totally on the script in US, it could have been much slicker and provided more thrill. Also the flashbacks to Afghanistan disturb the focus of the viewer. Cinematography is great and the parts filmed in Afghanistan are very well captured by the cinematographer. The background music is good. Performances from all the lead actors are excellent. The film could have done with a lot more editing and it is here it has lost.
