He was Information & Broadcasting Minister in the Union Cabinet of Indira Gandhi. Sad that the end came this way. May his soul rest in peace.

It is a grim reminder that the Naxal problem is really a serious internal security issue and all the states and the centre should make a combined strategy to fight these internal terrorists as they are unwilling to talking. The security forces should also realize that by taking innocent Adavasi villagers as prisoners and accusing them of being Naxals is not going to make the problem go away and these require going into the dens of the areas the Naxals have captured and made their own. If required military should also be deployed to help the Police and CRPF personnel.
