What are the chances of survival for a person undergoing valve surgery and open heart surgery if it suffering from diabetics. My father is undergoing this in Appollo by Dr. Naresh Trehan. Please reply as we are very tense.

Neha i don\'t know the stats on this but all i can say is belive in your GOD.. and i am sure he will recover very soon..!! No human can ans this question for u...!! at least no one can be 100%.. i wish u guys all the best ..may god give u \'ll the strenght to pass thorough this difficult time..

First of all, surgery will not be done until sugar comes under control. They will medicate in such a way that sugar is under control during operation and during post operative care. Hence should not affect him adversely.
