India's repulsion of Pakistan's attack in 1965. The attack from Pakistan took place within a span of 3 years after India tasted the shameful defeat during the Chinese invasion of India in 1962. Indian defense forces were still in shambles and totally unprepared to withstand either one more attack from Chinese from the North East or from Pakistan with its strong and powerful arsenal consisting of Patton Tanks and Sabre Jets. In spite of being at a disadvantage in the area of arms and ammunition, the defense personals rose to the occasion and were not only successful is defending its base but were also able to capture some areas on the other side of line of control. The way our defense forces equipped with outdated world war II tanks and Aircrafts took on the latest US made tanks and aircafts of Pakistan is really admirable.
