The USA never bothers for other countries.It is very much self centered.It never supported our view against LET as it did not suit their own interest.They started talking against LET only when some USA citizens were killed on 26/11 in India.Now their announcement is to threaten Pakistan to allow them routes in Pakistan for their military supply.The announcement has nothing to do with India n will not serve our interest.

The guy, whom you are referring to, is basically wanted by India. Right now, US - Pakistan relations have reached a very low level and the latter is very defiant against the former.
By taking this action, US has signaled to Pakistan that if it does not fall back into a more amiable attitude, then US can very well play the India card against it.
