Urdu was the first language from the time of Qaiaro Kasra, with combination of Persian and Arabic. During the Era of Amir Khusro it was more localised in Indian sun continent.

Urdu came first and Hindi followed it and we are Lucky to know both the languages which are sweet and beautiful.

Urdu came first.
Of what i have heard is that hindi is a language which is derived from urdu, arabic and 1 or 2 more languages.
