Ours is a big country .
We people vote for different reasons .
Politics today is the game of numbers .
All the parties are same
The policies that we follow are the policies of compulsion rather than choice .
I think politics is too deep to understand all these things
I do not agree and neither oppose

Congress is banking on its Old ideology? How I wish that were true!!!!

The COngress-I of today is nothing like the Congress-I of yesteryear, no way. And even in the "Gandhis"- the last real leader from that bloodline was Indhiraji.

Most of the electricity problems, shooting prices, all happaned because of Narasimha Rao, the NDA rule that followed as well as the present day Congress-I.

The answer is not so simple. We the Indians have never come up out of our Slave Mentality. We were slaves to Mughals and yet we proudly acclaim Akbar, Shah Jehan and Bahddur Shah as our Rulers.

Then we were slaves to Poutugese and yet keep the custom intact in Goa and other places.

Later Britishers made us Slave and we find pride in calling policies of certain 'vice-roys as good. JL Nehra himself was a personal friend of Mount batten & fmly., yet he was made the first PM, over-ruling Sardar patel.

The same mentality has grown over the years since independence in Congress. The culture is very hard knit. Whomever tried showing their mettle (like Nijininguppa, Morarji, even Arjun Singh & ND Tiwari) were all shown their "Aukaat".

So in Congress leaders or policies doesn't matter but "Vyakti Pooja" is essential. A Commercial-Aircraft Pilot can become PM, his Foreiner wife wants to rule the nation (yet ruling by proxy now even), their II Gen so ...more

No party is good...so one has to loose when its in power.
I dont say Cong is any good. I dislike them coz they r more interseted in butterring gandhi family than doing good to public. For instance of Arjun SIngh. His both legs in Kabr, but still he is doing sycho[hancy to gahdhis and in between dont forget to do dirty caste politics.
right now, both the parties, Cong and BJP, lack a leader, who can guid them towards a attainable, worht-chasable and a dream-for-better-india goal. They are out of vision and dont have any fingure to hold and get guided.
