Union HRD Minister Kapil Sibal controversial "One Nation-One Test" proposal for IIT's and other centrally funded technical institutes is redundant. Considering his insistence on not changing the norms, who doesnt the minister advocate a "one nation-one policy" namely merit??? The selection in terms of various quotas has totally undermined merit and politicians, simply to create vote-banks are heavily misusing the quota system. There is no cap on SC/STs,OBCs minorities, who are economically well off and do not need any quotas to uplift them. Ur views???
Why one test policy is redundant? When MIT and Harvard follow the same tests of SAT, why should IITs behave like an elite? As regards criticism on inclusion of class XII exam results, what is wrong? Even MITs and Harvards accept American High school diplomas from a recognized school and mind it well that there is no board in USA - It's just a High School Diploma from schools without any board!! They accept same AP or IB scores that is prevalent all over USA.
So, if USA has brought a parity with the same SAT, AP Tests, why cannot the same be adopted in India?

In all classes, Exams, Tests, Recruitments etc. a single & uniform "World Class Standards" need to be followed , strictly without idiotic "RESERVATIONS".
A STATE / REGION, in a country M U S T not lag behind the other STATE / REGION, at any point of time.
AND, as such, syllabii from lower Kg. to Post Doctoral standards / Technical / Medical streams M U S T be UNIFORM.
Political R O G U E S must not interfere !!!
