Though such situations were there especially before 26/11, I believe that it does not exist now under P Chidambaram. However, there may be exceptions also at State levels. But elimination of terrorism calls for a well coordinated effort on the part of Intel Agencies of Federal government plus the State Police and they shall work on real time intelligence and shall be proactive i.e. to take out the perpetrators before their heinous action. This is where our Intel and Security Agencies fail. We do not need post mortem reports from them. Because nobody can bring back the lost lives. Lives must be protected and anybody trying to lay hands on those precious lives shall be identified before hand and eliminated.

Some corrupt polititions are involved with the criminals and that is the reason why no criminal is put behind bars in India (for long). The Judicial system in India is the most pathetic and slowest in the world where every case will be for a min 15 yrs and more. Judges and lawyers shud be made to pay based on no of cases completed and not on the basis of cases attended.
