Govt. spent crores of Rs. for the welfare of poor people / women but it is not sure whether that money is used for the same purpose.. The situation of medical colleges all over the country is more or less same. Once i visited Nagpur medical college n i owed not to turned there again. The patient were almost crammed up in the room. The hospital was over crowded & it was very difficult for me to check in which room my friend has been admitted. The setting up of the multi-crore multi-specialty ward too has failed to redress the problem of over-crowding. it is better not to talk bout maternity ward..I had never been to medical hospital before so i was not aware of the condition of this hospital...After much effort i could able to meet my friend & thanks to God that she was not that serious so i immediately shifted her in private hospital...It is ok for high or middle class people to get their patients shifted to another hospital but wat about poor ? I don't want to write here tha ...more

This is happening every where in the country.....very recently here in Hyderabad a pregnant lady was denied admission in the hospital due to shortage of beds and while going out she delivered nearby main entrance of the hospital itself..........sweepers on the job have covered her with their sarees and taken her to hospital........later the concerned head of the department was suspended for the incident.

You do not have to go to Guwhati for such news. It is happening everywhere. The number of persons having no money for medical treatment is so great that unless we open free hospitals by 10 times, this problem will not be solved. We may reach Moon, but we'r unable to reach even the first step of humanity, and that is the sad part of our state management.
