I used to read many books. I still read magazines like Reader's Digest, Wisdom, Chandamama - leading newspapers and some books of famous people.
With the internet, reading has become less. We should make it a habit to read good books.

A book is a friend; a good book is a good friend. It will talk to you when you want it to talk, and it will keep still when you want it to keep still; and there are not many friends who know enough to do that.......... but we must know the art of reading a good book ............The strongest desire , I posses , is reading .My knowledge tells that reading lifts anyone, to a world of joy & happiness .But I was reading the books ,as popular novels and forgetting the contents within short time . I have not then developed the Skill of reading

Now I read sincerely but in installments ..... I read few pages first ..........try to understand what I have read ........discuss with myself ....then with my friends till it becomes a part of myself ...then again read another few pages .........repeat the same process ..........that way , it takes bit more time to finish the book but at the same time , the contents become inherent part of my learning ......never ever forgetting the contents
