Individuals can chose the persons of their choice to marry, irrespective of their nationalities. Pakistan, India and Bangladesh have been one greater India for centuries.
I do not consider Sania's getting married to Shoaib as a disgrace because he is a Pakistani but I consider it as a disgrace because Shoaib, as reported in the media has already been married to one Siddiquie. I do not understand why Shoaib is cheating Indian girls. Why Sania wants to marry him when he has already cheated another Indian girl from Hyderabad is confusing. She should have avoided him. There is every possibility that Shoaib may cheat Sania also after some time and go for his third innings. Once bitten, twice shy. It is disgrace for Sania to marry Shoaib nor because he is a Pakistani but because she is marrying him inspite of knowing fully well about his controversial marriage to another Indian girl. That is the point to be noted in this case.

For me its a matter of her personal decision whom to choose & marry. It is the freedom given to every citizen in this country to do so & we should respect it. This only the media hype which has made it a burning issue of national pride for many Indians or an easy way to get publicity & political mileage!!

Destroying the Babri Masjid was not a disgrace to India, child labour is not a disgrace to India, honour killings are not a disgrace to India - but Sania marrying a Pakistani is a disgrace to India!!!! And Thackeray takes the cake when he says Sania's heart is not Indian because she's marrying a Pakistani. Why don't these so called patriotic souls join the armed forces and show their patriotism? Why pick on Sania? It's her business who she decides to marry and what finally happens to their marriage.

Sir , your feeling is correct if you think shoaib malik is not a human being worth marrying
If you consider pakistanis or shoaib malik or sania mirza having heart soul and mind as human beings then your feeling is wrong

I am with you fully sir. If people are THAT concerned about patriotism let them join ARmy and gun down some Talibans.

Whilst we spare NO STONE to blast artillery at the lady over her personal choice of life partner, we also conveniently forget that almost EVERY Indian businessman who goes to Pak almost always requests the company of a Mujra dancer from Pak. The link between Mujra dancers and INdians are so strong that EVERY visiting Indian delegation in biz is provided w/ 1 even w/o asking.

It is OK for patriotic INdian men to shower Mujra dancer girls from Pak w/ lakhs and lakhs of Rupees (the dancer's bro could b a Hizb al Mujahid for all u know) but it is completely unacceptable for an Indian gal to marry a PAkistani dude. WTF?!

ANd I completely laugh my rear end off at how "Indians" get patriotic against "PAkistan" considering both INdia and PAkistan are British created entities. We know only HIndustan (South Asia). SOmetimes I wonder if our "patriots" are British colon ...more

No I don't feel it is a disgrace to India. Marriage is a very personal thing and if her family and she are Ok with it, nothing else matters. She plays for India and her loyalty lies with India and who she marries is none of anyones concern.

There is nothing wrong if she chose a husband of her choice .After all once upona time Pakistan too was a part of India.Since she has been a public icon for us so she has to face this criticism of common people too.

Muslims don't have patriotism; they betray their own country.

Md Atta was a student in USA and he betrayed that country and true worshippers of God.
