Asian Games is tougher of the two as Common Wealth games does not have China and Japan. But since Common Wealth Games has Australia and South Africa, it also is quite tougher for India.

Asian games any day. Asia has power house China then Japan, Korea, Chinese Taipei, Middle eastern countries are there where as at Commonwealth level apart from Australia , UK and Cananda there is less competition and India manages fair amount of medals in core competion of boxing, wrestling, shooting, archery etc.
