Enemy's enemy is friend.BJP considers AAP to be more dangerous for them than congress.Congress has already sunk.No chance of any revival in 2014.But AAP is standing between BJP n Delhi.BJP wants to eliminate AAP to make their Delhi march smooth n for that they can praise any person or party.

Shinde is amongst those politicians close to Gandhi family who would struggle to win a Lok Sabha election in his own state. The only qualification he has due to which he has become Home minister is his closeness to the Gandhi family.
Shinde's statement that he wants to see Sharad Pawar as next PM is seen by the BJP camp as admittance of failure of the current PM and refusal to annoint as PM candidate. Latching on to this statement is purely selfish on the part of BJP to gain votes, hence the new found love for Shinde.
