A big software company has wanted 400 acres of land without any encumbrance near Madurai Corporation limit to build their office. They have offered to buy a specified rate and that rate is 5 times over the then prevailing rate at that area. Hence a number of real estate promoters rush to have a go and in the commotion to the race as many as 7 promoters were killed in the race. Where easy money is available such killings by paid killers are the order of the day.
