Though I've full sympathy for gang***D girl, but shifting her to Singapore by the govt on its expenses is mind boggling.....never seen in history of independent India....Govt caring for an ordinary resident....Is it a step by GOI to face its face???

This was an exceptional case. also, this time, media, common people came on streets unlike other similar incidents. government has to show that they are also bothered and worried about this case. they have to save their skin. already this government is blacklisted because of scams, scandals, corruption etc. so it is trying to somehow make up for all those things by treating this DAAMINI.
