This is about the present coal scam----who you think are the real beneficiaries on this and why?

Every one connected with the Scam - the ones who took the policy decisions, the bureaucrats who allocated and signed off the Govt Notifications and finally the recipients. They have all got a windfall that they would encash in due course of time. Most of these coal fields allocated have seen no action to develop them. May be, because of the recession and capital crunch, companies haven't ploughed in the money. But in due course they will do it as the economy picks up, steel demand goes up and coal becomes dearer than gold to feed the furnaces for the end products, be it steel or power or infrastructure. They will see their boom time and that is when the real windfall would come in, in the years ahead. Right now, we are importing so much of coal especially from Australia but a time would come, when domestic production would reach that level where it would feed the requirements of our industry, thus pumping up demand and price too.
