The countries of the BRIC and other groupings, such as China, India, Brazil and others maintain high rates of growth, at least two to three, even four times those of the advanced capitalist countries. The BRIC and related countries have a major share of the world economy in terms of production and sales. Countries like China, India, Brazil etc now pose a growing threat to the domination of the imperialist countries over the world economy. So much so that the US president has to go around the developing countries virtually pleading for jobs for the Americans. Exports from the developing countries in several items and commodities today pose a major threat to the domination of the big business of the advanced imperialist countries. Some of the developing countries have even mooted the idea of floating a new international currency at par with those of the advanced countries.
