This body is finally consumed, whether by earth, fire, beasts, or birds - Ramana Maharshi . Then why this attachment to body? Why this fear of death?

Sri Ramana Maharshi was an enlightened soul. Saints like him and others can adapt that ideology, but for common people it is just an utopia. We live in a materialistic world, where the body and its feelings rule, but once we understand spirituality and bow down in front of that cosmic power, then we realize the futility of worldly matters as a 'maya', and then there is no pain of attachment or fear of death
