Pune is located in the rain-shade region of the west-coastal mountain ranges of the Deccan Plateue .....Therefore usually it receives the monsoon rains bit late than other regions...hence no reason for any tension....but however the prolonged EL-NINO effect the global climate has been affected a lot...and now everywhere the rain occurs only as a resultant of dippression effect......

Sir never believe everything that these scientific predictions claim, As a matter of fact, I find that whenever the IMD declares that it will rain on a particular day, I go bindass, even without an umbrella, as I am sure that there would be no rain. this year too the similar thing has happened
