Q.

Let's discuss about infamous Kashmir problem. This problem persists since it started during d independence of India. There had been more than a couple of wars n d recent attack on Taj aggravated d situation. The real issue that should be discussed with d Pak govt. 2 how 2 get back d land of Kashmir that has been illegally occupied by Pak for long i.e.,(PoK) where all militant camps n all sorts of anti-India activities take place. At the time of bifurcation of India in 1947, our so called big leaders does not expect this type of problems will crop up later and they did not concentrate much. Actually Jammu & Kashmir is a part of India and there should not be any compromise. Muslims does not know, how to development their land, whereever they are, they tried to grab the development portions from neighbouring countries. You see history there were so many muslims invaders come to India and destroyed our civil culture, heritage and converted so lakhs of Hindus into Muslim religion. Our culture will be permit us to do war against anybody but unless total destruction took place, the other party taking it advantage by claiming pak occupmied kashmir is part of Pakistan.

Kashmir problem is because of Nehru. Take it or leave it. Kashmir was not part of India as per deal of Independence. Pakistan did not attack India and grabbed Kashmir, but attacked Kashmir and grabbed part of Kashmir. That's the historical fact. it was only after Pakistan's attack that kashmir agreed to merge in India. It's half-baked policy of Nehru that resulted in the current Kashmir problem.
1. If Nehru wished to integrate Kashmir in India, he should have scrapped 370 then and there and allowed free migration of mainland Indians to Kashmir, but he framed a rule that stopped migration of Indians to Kashmir and later militants systematically forced Hindus to leave Kashmir, thereby practically Nehru's policy resulted in Kashmir being devoid of secular Hindus.
2. If Nehru did not wish integration, he should have gone ahead with plebiscite promised by him to UN. After all, it was a promise of a national head, not in his personal capacity. But he was afraid of losing his prime ministe ...more

YES it could have been solved in 1971, when BUTTO was willing to sign on dotted line, but India missed the bus because the leaders of the day wanted fame and not the country's safety

We need not rewrite history now. Kashmir is part of India. Remove all special status to Kashmir.
Give freedom to military to handle Kashmir. Let there be new generation which owes loyalty to India and only to India. Security of a country is more vital than all dirty politics. We have to stand high with patriotism and put an end to all claims of Pak or China.

Why are u blaming Pak? WHICH COUNTRY AGREED FOR THE PARTITION? Not Pakistan but for sure India. WE were the bigger bros there. We could have simply stormed the entire geographical landmass of Pakistan in 1947 but we chose to listen to the UN.

India believes in supremacy of the UN and not in supremacy of South Asia, which is the problem.

Well, Indian leaders aren't all that dumb either. India surely don't talk much about our involvement w/ anti Pak Balochistani separatists. Most Indians don't even know who Akbar Bugti is, can u believe that?!

The Kashmir situation is our fault because allowing Pakistan to form was also our fault.

The britishers divided Hindus and muslims in such a way that we are still not able to flee from their clutches.....in the name of progress and rationalism they changed our education system, they have changed the age old values we have learned from our culture so that physically we may be free but we should be always under the impression that british are superior than us......and product of the western educations were the nehru and jinnah, neither of them was true to religion or land...... for the want of power they allowed divsion of our country......just think that how a country like pakistan who has not still able to stand on his feet attacking India....it's the support they are getting from western countries especially US and even China who are afraid of India.......they never want India to prosper....Pak gov is just a puppet in their hand and Gov. is always a frightened little kitten, they know the facts but cannot do anything abt it.........i have said before and i'll say again.. ...more

First of all in the case of china also they have grabbed our land after the attack and we did nothing and when we won the war of 65 and 71 we returned everything to pakistan .So it clearly indicates that we r coward type of people by nature as far as our govt is concerned as they are busy with their own problems of ruling the country and not for the development or for the prestige of the country .So it is not worth excepting anything from our govt.and specailly congress who is the main culprit of this partition

Yes but impossible in present situation to get either of any things from pakistan. we did mistakes in 47 thanks to nehruji, in 65 due to pressure from ussr due to which shashtriji lost his life, in 71 when 90000 soldiers surrendered and it was best chance but mrs gandhi missed opportunity and then in 2002 during kargil war when vajpaiji could have gone for a war.pak will never be friendly and there are some enemies within advocating for pakistan.
