The world's largest social network, Facebook has finally reached the one billion active user mark, eight years after launch, writes Zack Whittaker in cnet.com.
'If Facebook were a country, it would be the third largest in the world, behind China with 1.34 billion and India with 1.2 billion,' he writes..your views on its such popularity..is it so?

If being populated by Billion plus people is to be taken as the 'characteristics' of popularity, then China is the most popular country in the world followed on its heels by India!!
