It is a very high stage in spiritualism .In 18th century Sadasiva Brahmendra was once cut off his hand . He didn't realize it and walked along with a smiling face . When Mahaveer was driven a wooden peg into his ears , he stood firmly with a smiling face even after it came out through the other ear . World knows Jesus' crucifiction and how he came out unhurt . These are all the stages of Jeevan Mukthi .

I know a great Gnani who often forgets his body and once I saw the people surrounding him had to tell him which one is his left leg when he was requested to put his left leg on a step in Sabarimalai .
'Seththaaraip polath thiri', says a Tamil Siddhar .

People are exaggerating the family duties and find no time to learn about these things at least as a detail . Wasting most of their time and energy in suha bogas , when they start talking religion , they unnecessarily lash out high spiritual stages as if they are useless . Don't consider about their remarks . Continue asking these ...more

Many gurus now canvassing dhyan to gain popularity and money... samadhi is 8th step and dhyan is 7th step...if you are really doing dhyan, your heartbeat must come down by at least 40% and pulse rate should also come down by40%... then only ,mental vibrations and thoughts will come down.. heartbeats and mental thoughts are closely related... one in one thousand people can do that... now it has become a fashion to claim that they are doing dhyana... it is not dhyana.. in western countries , they is an electronic machine which measures your heartbeats when you go into dhyana...even the so called gurus are unfit and incapable of doing dhyana....it is only business stunt....kumrao99@yahoo.co.in

Some people are called vegetable- because they just live without any awareness. That type is explained i the question. What use of them to the society? Why should one aspire to live,"Living Dead?". The brilliant presence of the Lord cannot be perceived in that mental firmament nor by an ordinary man who is disturbed by the gale of desires.

The mind that delights in its communion with God detaches itself easily from the sense-pleasure. This is how the devotees get themselves emancipated. Contrary to this, the mind that delights i the mundane gets entangled. Worldly people are they who seek after the impermanent things of the earth. Godly people are they who seek God & nothing else.

The truly virtuous man is he who commits no sin even when he is all by himself. That is no virtue which is practiced for fear of public opinion. He alone is established in self-control

When you drop the mind and body...and you sense your soul completely than you are equal to living dead...at that state u realise mind and body are temporary and the soul is just consciousness.
