The Central Economic Intelligence Bureau is the central nodal authority responsible for coordinating and strengthening
of intelligence gathering activities on economic offences in the Ministry of Finance. The Bureau has also been charged with the responsibility of administering COFEPOSA Act and of monitoring State Government actions under the Act.
