Yes, they try & exploit the weak point of the people who are under high stress due to hectic schedules. The crisis of world population is a prosper route not only for the entertainment industry but for the Fmcg & consumer durables sectors too who thrive upon the mass population in countries such as India by targeting the laymen!!

I see nothing wrong in Films or Sports serving the purpose of diverting attention from the daily life. We all need dreams and these people are dream merchants who cater to our requirements.
And it is not just the films or sports. For example, one must come to Mumbai to see how the masses love and enjoy the procession of Ganpati visarjan.
Now, please do not tell me that this mass entertainment (of ganpati visarjan) is also being controlled from London
