Vijaywada I think was a very prosperous and strong kingdom and invaders whether Mughals or Colonial could not contaminate it.. May be this is the reason it is holding the legacy of cultural richness which you may term as nice..

In India, anywhere you go, people are generally very nice. I have experienced the warmth of the people of Vijayawada. However, I believe that if I am good, others are good to me.

Yes people of vijayawada are nice in general but it depends on the people you meet it is a major city and business capital of the state so all kinds of people come here some unwanted elements still live in the city it makes news for wrong reasons sometimes, still it is a good city to live in.
