Q.

The most Powerful Hindu God Shiva Rides on a Bullock. Ganesh on a mouse. Durga on a Tiger. Yet Indians do not learn from them and copy White Man. They want Scooty's, scooters, Motor Bikes, cars and Buses ? WHY ? Why they not follow their own Gods ?

U have not understood the fact that myth is full of symbols. Vehicle means something over which u have complete control. Mouse means unstoppable running thru all obstacles penetrating it. A mouse gnaws on anything on its way and creates a passage. So mouse symbolizes DESIRE. Ganesh riding a mouse means that the deity is in full control of desires!
