The met department has indicated a below par Monsoon..do you feel it would be the same?

If you carefully analyze the record of IMD predictions in the last 10 to 15 years you will realize by and large they were accurate with 10 to 15 % error. Judging the progress of monsoon so far one may fear a short fall in rains this year.

I think they may turn out to be right. The pre-monsoon showers that hit Kerala this year were weak. In Mumbai full fledged monsoon hits by June 15, but till today we have had intermittent and sporadic showers which in no way can be termed as full fledged monsoon.
